The agency’s Community Day Services Program provide a full range of rehabilitative services for persons eighteen (18) years of age, or older, who have a diagnosed developmental disability. Developmental Training services include habilitation planning assessment, and individual program planning. Employment services are provided through a supervised work environment, where individuals earn a paycheck while learning real work skills. The program also provides vocational testing and assistance with developing the individuals goals. Transportation to and from the Centers is provided by IVEDC on established routes. Illinois Valley Community Day Services Programs are designed to teach life skills and good work habits, to develop self-sufficiency so that each individual may have the best possible quality of life within the least restrictive environment.

Walnut Street Gardens is a unique addition to the Rehab Center in the way in which it allows the participants to utilize the full scope of their talents and where the public is encouraged to browse among the vegetable and flower gardens or shop for hand made gifts and decorations in the craft Barn.
